About the Role
Ministry In Motion International Dance Theatre is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role is crucial in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dynamic dance theatre ministry. The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the arts.

Responsibilities
Community Outreach:
Develop and implement strategies to engage with local communities, schools, and organizations to promote awareness of Ministry in Motion's mission and programs.
Conduct presentations and workshops to educate the community about the positive impact of dance on personal development and cultural exchange.
Partnership Building:
Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, schools, community centers, and other relevant organizations to expand the reach of Ministry in Motion's dance initiatives.
Collaborate with community leaders and influencers to enhance the organization's visibility and support.
Event Coordination:
Plan and coordinate community events, performances, and workshops to showcase the talents of Ministry in Motion's International Dance Theatre.
Work closely with the artistic team to tailor events to meet the specific needs and interests of diverse audiences.
Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support community engagement activities and events.
Provide guidance and supervision to volunteers, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
Communication and Marketing:
Develop and maintain communication channels with the community through social media, newsletters, and other platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that effectively convey the organization's message.
Passion for the arts, particularly dance, and a strong belief in the power of community engagement for positive change.
Minimum of a high school diploma
Proven success in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in community outreach, event coordination, or related fields is an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
