Summer McPherson

Summer McPherson is a veteran high school English Language Arts teacher who strives to teach her students to think critically and develop a worldview that is rooted in Biblical principles with the goal of realizing their purpose and actualizing their potential. Outside of the classroom, she plans and coordinates all school-wide engagement initiatives. She is a member of various school committees that span almost every area of school operations from field trips to Title 1 funding.

In addition to inspiring young minds, Summer voluntarily uses her business knowledge to assist small businesses that are minority-owned and first-generation with navigating the financial, marketing, and human resources hurdles and obstacles common in their first three years. 

Summer has a BA in English (Rhetoric & Composition) from Georgia State University and an MBA from Clayton State University.
